People looking to get away from it all by jetting off to Spain in the coming months may be interested to hear that one British-run resort has been awarded the title of Best Place to Stay in Europe by the Times.
Writing on the online pages of the news resource, Toby Sawday explains that Finca La Herradura in Orgiva is run by Jeanette and Russell Welham, who also farm olives from the site.
The self-catering lodge, made up of an ancient series of one-storey buildings, has been resurrected by the couple over the past seven years and Mr Sawday notes that holidaymakers can enjoy its location in an "epic setting".
Furthermore, visitors can each enjoy their own private vine-covered verandah with views overlooking the valley.
Britons who want to pack up their bags now and head over to Orgiva may be interested to know that they can book cheap flights to Spain through budget airline Jet2.com.
Meanwhile, the Times has also reported that the Bohemian soul of Paris still survives.
