Cheap flights to Turkey or Cyprus could give you a cheaper holiday than many UK resorts according to new information from Tesco Bank.

According to their findings, cheap flights to Bodrum and Cyprus – as well as numerous Eastern European countries – could work out cheaper than if a family were to travel to Brighton for a holiday.

The report considered the weekly costs for a family of four, including car hire, meals out, entertainment and accommodation. Although it didn’t consider travel expenses; however, with cheap flights from Jet2.com, many holidaymakers won’t be expecting to pay too much more.

So when you consider that you can get glorious beaches, an exotic culture, guaranteed sunshine and plenty of attractions to see and things to do for less than visiting the British coast, it isn’t hard to see why cheap flights to Cyprus and Turkey are proving so popular.

In fact, according to Tesco Bank’s findings, a cheap holiday in Bodrum was almost £400 cheaper than staying in Brighton for seven days. Despite Brighton’s many attractions it doesn’t quite compare to the glorious Turkish resort with its local cuisine, plenty of holiday bars and a beautiful soft sand beach.
