Spain Still Reigns Supreme

Spain might have just won the World Cup but it is also still the premier choice location for holidays with cheap flights to Tenerife, Malaga, Alicante and Palma retaining the top four spots.
Despite the heat wave that has swept through the UK in recent weeks, it appears that people are just as inclined to get their sun from Spain.
...But Greece Is Growing In Popularity
According to a recent report looking into the most popular holiday destinations the well-liked Spanish resorts were joined in the top ten by a fifth Spanish destination – the Balearic Island of Ibiza.
Cheap flights to Turkey continue to show growth with Dalaman breaking into the top five at the expense of Faro in the Algarve. With the rest of the top ten made up of American and British destinations it was the surge in holidays to Greece that also claimed the headlines. Crete saw the biggest growth in interest – leading to a five position rise for the month.
Both Greece and Spain offer plenty of options for holidays abroad with resorts to suit all types of holiday. This is probably why they remain so popular.
