Reports in a local Hungarian publication suggest that the popular Sziget festival could soon be kicking off in Croatia. The popular music festival in Budapest, which has attracted tourists and international bands alike, is developing quite a positive reputation and if reports are to be believed, the organisers have earmarked a site in Croatia.
According to Vilaggazdasag, organisers are hoping to launch the new music festival so that it takes place in late July. This is so that it doesn’t clash with the event in Budapest.
Glorious Sunshine and Live Music
Therefore, tourists considering cheap flights to Croatia in the July time might be able to take in a music festival. Croatia has been chosen as the preferred destination because of its attractive coast, glorious weather and growing reputation amongst an international community.
Croatia already boasts numerous film and music festivals of its own but this could be the first mainstream western event to arrive in the country.
The promise of scintillating sunshine with a soundtrack of live music from some of the world’s leading artists is an exciting thought for any holidaymaker.
