Jet2.com has announced extra flights this winter for the ski season. Additional flights have been made available from Newcastle and Edinburgh.
There will now be new services from Newcastle to Geneva from 26 December 2010 through to 9 January 2011 and cheap flights to Geneva from Newcastle between 20 February and 27 March 2011.
The February and March dates are mirrored by services from Edinburgh to Geneva too. The extra routes will cost from £29.99 per person, one way and including taxes.
“An even greater choice of winter holiday destination”
Jet2.com boss, Philip Meeson, felt that the additional services were meeting a growing demand in the north. He said:
“Our winter ski flights are extremely popular, with the UK’s ski and snow board enthusiasts unable to resist their annual fix of Europe’s snow-capped mountains. With this growing demand we have increased our services from the north for this season, giving people in the region an even greater choice of winter holiday destination.”
The new services will allow more holidaymakers to grab their gear and take to the slopes, or just relax in the bars instead!
