From April next year, Jet2.com is planning to expand the services they offer from their Edinburgh base. Jet2 will become the only airline in Scotland to offer three weekly flights to Budapest and they are also extending the number of flights to Majorca.
The new flights to Budapest will begin on 21 April 2011 and will cost from £29.99 one-way, including taxes
“Increased choice and flexibility”
Budapest is considered to be one of the most dramatic and scenic cities in Eastern Europe. It has been a happy playground for couples and groups of friends alike for years. A World Heritage Site, culture galore, active nightlife, spas and shopping make it an affordable city break destination all year round.
In addition to the new flights to Budapest, Jet2.com has also announced extra flights to the popular holiday island of Majorca. With just two weekly flights currently available in the summer months, Jet2 are aiming to match demand by increasing this to five flights a week in summer 2011.
These flights will cost from £34.99 one-way, including taxes. These extra flights follow hot on the heels of the new Salzburg and Geneva routes from Edinburgh.
Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the new route to Budapest from Edinburgh. This means that our customers will be able to benefit from increased choice and flexibility in terms of holiday dates and budgets.”
