Jet2.com has extended their portfolio of routes from Manchester Airport by offering holidaymakers the chance to visit Brive (Dordogne) in the summer of 2011. However, this wasn’t the only announcement emanating from Manchester Airport involving Jet2.com.
The airline with friendly low fares also announced the addition of cheap flights to Larnaca and Paphos, both in Cyprus. This means that Jet2.com now offer 34 routes from Manchester Airport and the addition of Brive takes their total routes to 54.
Unlocking the Picturesque Dordogne Region
The new cheap flights to Brive are expected to be very popular, not only with holidaymakers in 2011, but also expatriates living in the French province. The flights to Brive will be available, twice a week between May and September 2011 and will cost from £39.99 per person, one-way and including taxes.
The new cheap flights to Brive will take holidaymakers to the quaint and picturesque Dordogne region. Here they will find the old town of Sarlat, near the River Dordogne, the village of Rocamadour – which is thought to have healing powers and is visited by a million people a year and finally, Lez Eyzies, a UNESCO classified heritage site near the Vezere valley.
Offering Fights that No Other Airline Offers from Manchester
Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com, said: “We are delighted to be able to introduce the new route of Brive (Dordogne) to Manchester Airport, along with two new routes to Cyprus and extra flights to some of our most popular holiday routes.
“The North West has been one of our biggest growth areas in recent years and we have stuck to our commitment of offering flights from Jet2.com and packages through Jet2holidays to a wide range of destinations, some of which are not currently served by any other airline out of Manchester.”
