Jet2.com Announce New Glasgow Base

As of the 14 September 2010 Jet2.com will no longer have a single Scottish base but two with the opening of their Glasgow operations.

The move reaffirms Jet2.com’s position as one of the leading leisure airlines in the north and provides their Scottish customers with more flight options to popular resorts in Europe and beyond from April 2011.

A Variety of Destinations

The new Glasgow base will open with nine destinations offering some of the best year round sun favourites from April next year, including:

• Alicante from £36.99 per person, one way and including taxes
• Dalaman from £69.99 per person, one way and including taxes
• Nice from £36.99 per person, one way and including taxes
• Majorca from £36.99 per person, one way and including taxes
• Tunisia (Monastir) from 59.99 per person, one way and including taxes
• Paphos from £69.99 per person, one way and including taxes
• Tenerife from £56.99 per person, one way and including taxes

The variety of destinations will ensure that the new Glasgow base can cater for most tastes. Cheap flights to Majorca, Tenerife and Alicante will give holidaymakers a taste of Spain, and guaranteed sunshine all year round.

The growing popularity of Turkey and Tunisia is reflected in cheap flights to Dalaman and Monastir respectively.
