Visitors to Geneva looking for a cultural or romantic winter city break might like to visit the city during late November. This is because visitors arriving in Geneva during this period will be able to witness the works of Polish composer Frederic Chopin.

From 19 to 28 November 2010, visitors to Geneva will be able to hear music from some of Chopin’s most famous compositions. The festival is run by the Frederic Chopin Society Geneva having been established in 1997.

Many of Chopin’s classics will be performed by the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Wojciech Rajski. The festival takes place at the Geneva Music Conservatory Hall.
