Spectacular Opening of Val D’Isere

Unlike many of its similar resorts, Val D’Isere won’t officially open for Winter Ski until 27 November 2010 but this is when the Premières Neiges event is held.

Whilst many of the top ski resorts open without much ceremony, Val D’Isere’s position as one of the leading resorts means it always opens with a bang and this year will be no different.

Activities and Events to Enjoy

Over two days, from 27 November 2010 to 28 November 2010, there will be a number of activities put on for visitors arriving on cheap flights to Chambery Airport, only a short ride away.

However, it is the offer of ski products to trial that is the biggest draw. Visitors will be able to sample some of the best and latest innovations in ski equipment for free. Many of the leading brands will be showcasing their stuff.

On the Saturday (27 November) there will also be a number of ski films put on in the evening for people to sit back and watch before enjoying the best off the après ski.
