Early signs suggest that bookings for cheap flights to Lanzarote and Spain could be on the rise in 2011. The Canary Island of Lanzarote, which is currently welcoming plenty of visitors for its winter sun season, has traditionally been a favourite destination for holidaymakers.

However, in recent years many holidaymakers have been trying places like Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt. Whilst these countries are maintaining their appeal to an international holiday market, early suggestions point towards an increase in popularity for Lanzarote and Spain in 2011.

One benefit of an increase in accessible destinations for holidaymakers will see popular resorts avoid getting busy. So, whilst early signs suggest that Lanzarote and Spain in general will be popular in 2011, they won’t be over-run.
