A skiing break in Val D’Isere from Jet2.com is a must for all ski fans right now as many of the sports’ leading names have been coming and going because of the 55th "Critérium de la Premier Neige". It is the official opening of the resort, a favourite amongst Brits, and whilst the slopes will be very tempting it is the après ski that has caught the eye of many.
One person who has found the après ski scene in Val D’Isere to be particularly appealing is the Telegraph’s Gabriella Le Breton who claims that “there’s already a good buzz in the usual après-ski party suspects – Bananas, Moris Pub, Bar XV, Victor’s and Le Peit Danois.”
A More Relaxed Apres Ski Scene
In recent years the après ski has been as legendary as the slopes themselves in Val D’Isere, which is why throngs of tourists return every year. However, things seem to have taken a mellower mood for the 2010/2011 season.
Whilst many of the firm favourites are still open, they aren’t as busy, giving those that decide to put their feet up after a day on the slopes, more opportunity to relax in peace.
Cheap flights to Chambery and Geneva from Jet2.com make getting to Val D’Isere easy and prices are from £14.99 one way, including taxes.
