Presenter Loosens Up on Holiday in Bodrum

The presenter and journalist was on her first visit to the country and wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. What she and so many other tourists, taking cheap flights to Turkey every year, now know is that Bodrum is a culturally rich and luxurious resort that can cater to all tastes. In her article for the Daily Mail she said:

“Bodrum is situated on a peninsula, which apparently means that the climate is better there than anywhere else in Turkey and there's always a breeze. Another delight is the crystal-clear sea. Usually you get that clarity and colour only if you go much further afield.”

Excellent Entertainment and Relaxation

Bodrum is a great place to go for some relaxation but also excellent evening entertainment as Ms Maxwell discovered.

“One evening we ventured out of the hotel into Bodrum to a great restaurant and bar called The Yacht Club. It turned out to be really hip. They had the most amazing band; excellent musicians who could play everything from jazz and soul to The Beatles.” She went on to say that “perhaps our best experience was the wonderful three days spent at the Kempinski spa.”
