Mad About Majorca

Anyone watching Sky 1 this past Thursday (10th February 2011) might have stumbled across a new series shot in a glamorous location. The programme was Mad Dogs and the location was Majorca.

The new programme is set to be a success in 2011 and was shot completely on location in Majorca. One of the show’s leading characters Woody, a reformed party animal, is played by Max Beesley and he has been talking to the press about the filming and the location. He said:

"Within about five minutes of checking in at Gatwick and getting a few beers, we were all getting on like a house on fire, which is obviously a bonus when you're doing intense work with people for nine weeks.

"It was tremendous fun. I was just thinking in the bath this morning that for every five really, really horrendous location jobs you do, something idyllic like this comes along."

Majorca has a close affinity with Brits and has been a favourite for many years. It is this relationship with the holiday destination that the producers of the programme are trying to tap into with the show.
