Great Aquatic Events
Sailing enthusiasts will find that now is a great time to be visiting Majorca. Throughout April, the island will be playing host to the Palma de Majorca International Boat Show.
The event, which takes place annually, focuses on recreational sailing and will have several hundred boats docked around the Moll Vell in Palma’s harbour. Visitors will have the option of watching the boats as they sail, or getting up close and having a more personal look as they are in the dock.
Also worth visiting in Palma is the city’s Aquarium. With a reputation as one of the best attractions not only in Majorca, but in the Balearic Islands as a whole, the marine park has the aim of recreating the habitats and ecosystems of the seas.
With a variety of different sea life, the aquarium provides a fascinating insight into all the world’s oceans, making it a great destination for all visitors to Majorca.
