The price of ski and snowboarding holidays is falling, according to one sector commentator, which should come as good news to winter sports enthusiasts.
Writing on the online pages of the Times, Tony Dawe said that many resorts were inundated with bookings following Christmas from people keen to see in the new year on the slopes.
He added that those who have the time to spare should look into securing the best deals for January.
Sports fans hoping to escape to the piste in the coming weeks may also be pleased to hear that they can book cheap ski flights with budget airline Jet2.com and fly to their destination from a number of airports across the north of the UK.
Meanwhile, it has been widely reported that many ski resorts in Europe are enjoying their best snowfall in some 20 years which has prompted many Britons to grab their skis and snowboards and get busy searching for a bargain last minute booking.
