Getting to and from the airport:
By car:
The Promenade des Anglais takes you
from the airport to Nice, Monaco and onto the Italian border. You can get
to Cannes and Antibes on the A8 motorway, the national road RN98 or RN7 and
to Grenoble on the RN202. Europcar (tel. +44 (0)113 250 9066, www.europcar.co.uk),
who are based at the airport, offer a discount on car hire to Jet2 customers
if you book in advance through their call centre (+44 (0)870 737 8282) or
on the airline’s website (www.jet2.com).
By train:
There are regular SNCF national
trains to and from the airport to Nice (Gare Nice Ville, 3 avenue Thiers)
and to Cannes (Gare St Laurent du Var).
By bus:
The no. 98 (Bus station) & no. 99 (Train station) run every 25 mins
from the airport to Nice’s town centre and cost 4 Euros. Buses service
all towns along the Riviera, including Monaco, Cannes, Toulon, Aix-En-Provence,
Marseille and Avignon.
