Reus City Guide

Eating in Reus

With cheap flights to Reus you will be able to enjoy rich, traditional cuisine full of flavour. Reus enjoys typically strong Mediterranean rich cuisine with plenty of fish. As the onset of tourism has only lightly infiltrated the city you won't find a plethora of franchises lining the streets, instead local eateries make up the majority of restaurants and bars.

Clustered around Reus' centre is where most of the finest restaurants are, although a quick detour down the side streets is likely to unlock a number of hidden gems.

It is still possible to find the odd Pizza Hut for a convenient bite to eat and there is a bundle of Japanese restaurants to offer some oriental flair to the evening dining.

Pavement cafes always attract revellers needing to put their feet up after a long day scouring the shops for designer bargains. They offer al fresco dining with their range of light bites and a chance to soak up some sun as you relax.

As well as these collections of small shops, there are larger shopping areas that accommodate even the most dedicated shopper. The Centre Del Pallol Reus is 800 square metres of shopping heaven. Evening Entertainment in Reus

Reus is more of a sleepy city, celebrated for its culture rather than a raucous nightlife. With only a clutch of bars available, most people would rather compliment their evening meal with a fine bottle of wine or a drop of brandy.

For the discerning culture vultures, cheap flights to Reus take you to the celebrated Fortuny Theatre, a glorious example of Baroque architecture that exudes opulence both inside and out. Here you can enjoy the many shows that run each year. There is also the recently renovated Bartrina Theatre with equally impressive interiors and a varied selection of shows.

If a spot of partying is required, Salou is just a 30 minute bus ride away. This resort town is geared up for modern international tourism with a bevy of bars and clubs to suit all tastes in music and drinks and for a party scene that lives on well into the early hours of the morning.
