Festa Di San Simplico
'Sa Festa Manna' means the big feast and although the precise day for this festival is 15th May, the feast is celebrated for the whole week. The main event of the festival is a long religious procession that leaves from the basilica and through the town centre with everyone in traditional costume. The Saint's statue is carried in the volunteers' arms. Folk shows, Sardinian songs and traditional dances, poetic competitions, fireworks and food make up the festival itself.

Nostra Siginora Di Cabu Abbas
This is a religious festival with a big lunch and traditional entertainment

23 - 24th June

Festa Della Madonna Del Mare e di San Giovanni Battista
This is all based around the harbour where there is a huge procession of boats all with statues on board.
