Best For Groups

Ability

Skiing or boarding with a group of friends can make for a fantastic ski trip. But choose your resort carefully – consider the ski/ board abilities of all the members of the group and determine when choosing if the emphasis is more on fun on the piste or enjoying the après ski instead.

Or, for more experienced snow lovers, whether they want to be more off piste or in the snow park.

Location

Location is everything on group holidays so be sure to choose an accommodation which is centrally located and ideally close to the resort centre of the main ski lifts enabling people to have the flexibility to be able to join the group or leave earlier if they choose.

Purpose built resorts can work really well for group holidays and if you can ski in and ski out of your accommodation that’ll be a real hit.

Budgeting

If you’re booking for school holiday or peak times be sure to book early so that you can have maximum choice. If you can avoid the peak weeks the prices will make your money go further and leave more money for buying lift passes and any extra instruction needed. If working with a tight budget choose apartments and share the chef duties for some fun diy evening après-ski.
