Arinsal - Great for Skiing & Snowboarding Weekend Breaks in the Beautiful Andorran Countryside

Arinsal is an attractive, compact resort. The Arinsal ski area is linked by high speed cable car to the beautiful tree-lined runs of neighbouring Pal, offering something for every grade of skier and is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediates on a short ski break.

Fantastic Apres Ski & Snowboarding Activities

The resort which is located in the Massana area, boasts a lively atmosphere with a great selection of apres ski activities including restaurants, bars and clubs all operating well into the small hours, offering generous measures at low cost duty free prices – perfect for young people who are learning to ski by day and looking for a good time in the evening!

Arinsal lies at the end of a valley in the southern part of Andorra. Snow reliability is some of the best in Andorra as many of the slopes are above 1900m and supplemented by nearly 400 snow cannons.

For skiing, Arinsal's east-facing mellow slopes get lots of mid-morning sun. The midstation reachable from the gondola is the main hub of the mountain, all trails lead back to the midstation so you'll find it impossible to get lost! For those learning to ski this is a good spot, the learning trails are out of the way and have good snowmaking.

Arinsal and Pal are connected by cablecar. Experts will head to the trees in Pal whereas intermediates should head to the trails dropping from the summit to La Caubella, El Fontanal and the cablecar station.

Snowboarding in Arinsal, Austria

For snowboarding, freeriders should head for the north face of the Alt de la Capa or the north facing area beside the Cornellada run in Pal. Freestyle snowboarders can make the most of the now doubled in size terrain park at Arinsal which has three distinct zones: a 100 metre long half pipe, an activity park area and a permanent circuit for snowboarders and cross skiers.
