Parapenting
Ski Surf Ecole International, +33 (0) 450 733 192. Offering a discovery flight on a two-seater parapente, with a qualified teacher. This activity is open to all over 7 years old and can be done with shoes or with skis. There are several starting and landing places depending on the weather conditions and snow quality. Price €70.

Ice Skating
+33 (0) 450 733 412, Situated by Vonnes Lake in an outstanding natural setting. Opened from 17th December to 31st March 2006. Adult admission €5 without skates - €6 with skates, Child admission €4 without skates - €5 with skate hire. Admission is for two hours.

Under Ice Diving
+33 (0) 607 149 539, If you're after adventure – check thisout! In complete safety with qualified instructors you'll experience a truly out of the ordinary world! All equipment is provided and is open to anyone over the age of 16. €60 per person.

Walking Trails
There are over 80km of walking pathways in the Abondance Valley and Morgins. Details of all the circuits are in the snowshoe guide for sale throughout the Valley for €2, there are a series of different itineraries – including some across the border between France and Switzerland. Horse Drawn Carriage
On Sundays you can have a ride around Lake Vonnes with Fabrice Pariat and his horse drawn carriage. Price €1 per person.

Cheese Making
Bookable through the tourist office +33 (0) 450 732 244. Annick and Philippe welcome you to their farm, where they explain how they make Abondance – the famous local cheese, with tasting available! Every Thursday morning from 9.30am to 11.00am. Adults €4.50, Children €2.30 (children under 5 years old free).

Drawing Courses
Bookable through the tourist office +33 (0) 450 732 244. Open to all, whatever your level. All equipment is provided and you'll go home with your canvas! Mondays from 3.00pm to 4.30pm and Thursdays from 10.00am to 11.30am.

The Little Train
All season long, on Tuesday mornings from 10.30am to 12noon, the little train will take you on a circuit to discover Châtel village. Departing from the tourist board, tickets €1.50. From day to day the little train runs from 10.00am to 4.00pm, as wellas catching the train from opposite the tourist board you can also step on at certain points of the circuit: by the car park at Lake Vonnes, at Tovassière in Petit- Châtel, at Linga and also at the bottom of Freinets road. Tickets = €2 Adult, €1 Child.
