Apres Ski in the French Ski Resort of Courchevel
Number of Bars: 14
Number of Clubs: 2
Courchevel 1850 is the place to go if you want a really big night out! And don't be surprised if you bump into a celebrity of two on your way! Sumptuous restaurants and sophisticated bars await but be warned it can get a little pricey! For those wanting to adopt a more conservative approach good quality food and drink can also be found in the resort to suit all budgets. Looking for something quieter then head to 1550 where you can enjoy a very relaxed atmosphere. The original village 1650 has embraced the après ski culture and you will find several bars to choose from.
A fabulous place to star-spot amongst other activities 1850 has exclusive clubs and bars such as the (ultra VIP) Les Caves and Kalico, also popular for a spot of dancing is Le Grange. The latest addition to the scene is The Purple Bar with its pulsating techno music. The Milk Pub situated underground in the center of Courchevel 1850 is always a popular haunt and usually host to live music.
1650 also has its fair share of Après ski bars including Le Plouc – an intimate late-night bar and Le Bubble (where you can even check your email!).
1300 and 1550 tend to be much quieter and more suited to family groups, the Barouf in 1550 throws Brazilian and other cultural parties. Also worthy of a mention are the friendly Tavern, The Glacier Bar, Le Barouf and Chanrossa.
If you fancy a night away from the bustling clubs and bars, there are two decent cinemas both showing English speaking films at 1650 and 1800.
