Climbing

Open daily to the public from 9.00am to 10.00pm. 13m high and 7 ways up! All equipment is provided and first time climbers are encouraged to attend every evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, first climb is €8 per person.
Sledging
Courchevel offers something unique in France – a sledging run 2km long, with 300m of vertical and an incline of 15%. The run is floodlit from start to finish, allowing evening descents. The runs departure point is located at the edge of the Tovets ski run in Courchevel 1850 with its arrival point in Courchevel 1550. Access to the sledge run is provided by the Grangettes gondola, from Courchevel 1550 – also its arrival point. Hours are from 09.00am to 7.30pm – free of charge with valid ski or pedestrian lift pass, otherwise each ride on the lift costs €6. Sledge rental is available in all good sports shops throughout the resort.
Walking Trails
Courchevel provides 17km of walking trails that are groomed all winter long. The options vary from short walks, village strolls, half-day hikes or brief excursions designed to offer a few minutes of tranquillity and contact with nature. Snowshoes can be rented from all good sports shops throughout the resort and outings with mountain guides and ski instructors are available. A pedestrian lift pass will allow you access to all gondolas and trams (as well as certain chairlifts) throughout Courchevel and its neighbouring resort Meribel. Rates vary from €14.50 for a day pass to €47 fro a seven day pass. The rate for a one ticket ride is €6. Further rates and hours of operation are available from lift-ticket sales booths.
Hang-Gliding

Hot-Air Balloon

Ice Skating
At the Forum – Courchevel 1850 +33 (0) 479 083 323. Open daily from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. Extra sessions from 9.00pm to 11.00pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. In case of bad weather conditions there is an extra session at 2.00pm. Adults €4.80, Children €3.20, skate hire €3.20.

Olympic Ski Jump
