Activities for Non Skiers in Les Deux Alpes, France

There is a fair choice of activities for those away from the slopes, from swimming to paragliding, an overnight stay in an igloo to a snow cat ride across the glacier, to relaxing in one of the many café bars in the resort.

There is a good range of shops through out the resort, but in particular there is Alpe de Venosc, lying south of the town which is the place to visit: The cobbled streets, craft shops, chapels and traditional restaurants makes this arguable the spot with the most character in the resort.

Child care facilities are good so you can leave the kids in good hands while you visit the museums in Mont de Lans or Maison de la Montagne or the ice cave with its magnificent views.
