Val D’Isere is the main part of the Espace Killy, which
it shares with purpose-built Tignes. The valley is regarded as the ‘Most
Beautiful Ski Area in the World’ and it isn’t hard to see why during a ski
break in Val D’Isere.
Its stone and wooden chalets and buildings stretch
across the valley, ordered by rows of pine trees whilst eight main ski lifts
and a free bus service provide easy access to the 300km of pistes during a
skiing weekend here. Many of the runs, which suit all levels of ability, in the
Espace Killy reach altitudes of 1550 metres to 3456 metres in altitude.
Plus, the location of the resort means that it is only
just over 2 hours from Chambery Airport and just over 2 and a half hours from Geneva Airport.
This makes cheap ski flights to Chambery and Geneva from Jet2.com ideal to unlock
this premier ski resort.
