Other factors which make Val d'Isère an excellent weekend resort include the range of skiing for all levels, excellent aprés-ski and an extensive range of non-skiing facilities. Due to its high altitude snow throughout the majority of the season is pretty much guaranteed, making it a good choice if you only have a couple of days!
