Split airport is located by the Adriatic coast. Approximately 4 miles from Trogir to the west and Kastela to the east and 15.5 miles from the town of Split to the southeast.
By Bus:
There is a regular shuttle bus service from the airport to Split which is organised by the Plesoprijevoz bus company (tel: (021) 203 119). Buses from the airport leave shortly after the arrival of incoming flights, while buses from Split to the airport leave 90 minutes before all scheduled flights. There is also a local bus service which travels to the airport every 20 minutes throughout the day. This service is operated by Promet (tel: (021) 407 888).
By Car:
Driving to Split from the airport is straightforward. There are two main routes to access the airport by car. Choose either the main road (D1) or the Adriatic coastal road (A1) and follow signs to the airport.
