Tenerife Sur Airport (Reina Sofia)
Location: approx 60km
from Santa Cruz (the island’s capital) and lies within close distant
of all main holiday resorts.
By Taxi:
Airport taxis are available from taxi ranks outside both the arrivals and
departures terminals usually give a fare price, official licensed taxis display
a green light on their roof or in the window and a small plate on the rear
bumper with the initials SP.
By Bus:
There are three services available from the airport.
-Number 341 operates to Santa Cruz central bus station.
-Number 340 operates to the Northern airport and Puerto De La Cruz.
-Number 487 operates to the Southern tourist destinations including Playa
de las Americas and Los Cristianos.
